Clavius And Beyond 3.70 for EV Classic for Nova

Based on Clavius And Beyond 3.50, ported to EV Classic for Nova by Chris, with SpacePort software.

With EV Classic for Nova v.1.0.1, you can play Escape Velocity running through the Nova engine (EV Nova 1.1.0) on Mac OS. With the help of SpacePort from hypermike and some minor adjustments it is now possible to play ClaviusAndBeyond in this environment as a plugin.

• ClaviusAndBeyond is a Plug-In for Matt Burch's Escape Velocity 1.0.3 or later ©1996 Ambrosia Software, Inc. Please note that this plug-in doesn't replace the standard EV universe, it just extends the galaxy. It is designed as an end-game plug-in, so, depending of your skill, you will need a strong ship to complete Clavius' missions.

• It mainly adds:
			   - 6 governments
			   - 9 systems
			   - 16 ships (with new graphics)
			   - 25 outfits (with sounds and new graphics also)
			   - 62 missions... and much more!

• It also adds
	- graphics for the standard Cloaking Device, Particle Beam and Tractor Beam.
	- the possibility to sell (and re-buy) these outfits, after you have completed the standard appropriate missions, of course.

• The story
Fight against a pro-Confed extremist movement and use new weapons, beat off an alien invasion, discover a ancient civilization... Land on Clavius Station, and depending on your combat skills, you will be able to pilot the famous Neutronic Kestrel Interceptor, a sleek, fast and powerful vessel. Clavius Station is located two jumps below the Sirgil system. Just go there and the adventure will start.

ClaviusAndBeyond also includes Maskirovka plug-in (a previous DYNA plug-in). Maskirovka Station is located in the Levo system. Just land there and visit the shipyard and the outfit section.

Until the 3.0 version, ClaviusAndBeyond also includes a battle simulator based on the Arena plug-in by Jason T. Meltzer. The Arena system is located two jumps below the Lethe system. Just go there to take part in numerous gladiatorial combats, often dangerous but always well-paying.

Dogfights, powerful ships, terrifying weapons and... love: ClaviusAndBeyond contains all a space adventurer waits from life.

• Requirements
        - Escape Velocity needs at least 11000 Kb of free RAM to run ClaviusAndBeyond.
        - ClaviusAndBeyond really needs Escape Velocity 1.0.3 or later version.

• Compatibility
As ClaviusAndBeyond adds lots of EV objects, it should NOT be compatible with other EV plug-ins.
In any case, as ClaviusAndBeyond includes all the previous DYNA Systems plug-ins, make sure to remove these following plug-ins from your “EV Plug-ins” folder before playing ClaviusAndBeyond:
			   - Aurora (all versions)
			   - Clavius (all versions)
			   - Maskirovka.

• Installation
1 - First of all, remove all the plugs from your “EV Plug-ins” folder (except “EV Tuner”).
2 - Put ClaviusAndBeyond in your “EV Plug-ins” folder.
3 - Make a copy of your pilot file.
      4 - Launch Escape Velocity.
5 - OK, now you are ready to conquer the whole galaxy... Good luck!

NB: if you already have played other plugs with the same pilot file, it’s highly recommended to first run Clavius First Cleaning plug-in BEFORE playing ClaviusAndBeyond.
